Raising £440 for Prostate Cancer UK was a fantastic outcome and exceeded the expectations of Tingdene Homes and Leisuredays.

The cheque was handed over to John Freeman, Prostate Cancer UK, by Steve Ekins at Tingdene’s Park Home Exhibition Centre in Wellingborough.

When Tingdene and Leisuredays started the process of organising the corporate Charity Golf Event held at Kenilworth Golf Club, they were keen to also raise funds for Prostate Cancer as it was a charity close to the hearts of many that were taking part and indeed one key person that had himself overcome the cancer.
The Golf Event itself was a hospitality event hosted by the two companies and included a meal afterwards with prizes for winning categories.
The charity donation was raised simply from the generous donations of those that attended and included for people at the venue that also wished to donate.
Tingdene and Leisuredays were amazed by the total collected and pleased to be handing over such a substantial cheque, hoping that the contribution can help make a difference in some way.
